Aftermarket 70 mm scale tube for SUP (Chaoqiang Weiye) SUP20S, SUP20T, SUP21T, SUP23S and SUP23T handheld welding guns (M16 nozzles). The scale tube is the stainless steel tube between the gun and the copper nozzle. It screws into the front of the gun, the nozzle screws onto its end, and the engraved scale sets how far the nozzle sits from the focus point.
FT70 is the standard tube fitted to SUP guns.
Stainless steel, 70 mm long, M16 thread, 12 mm tube diameter, with the scale marked in millimetres either side of zero. Sold singly or in packs of 5.

Setting focus position
Screw the nozzle along the scale to move the focus above or below the surface. Zero is the focus point; set it negative for deeper penetration on thick joints and positive for a wider, softer weld on thin sheet.
Damaged threads or scale
Spatter, knocks and over tightening wear the thread and the engraved scale. A tube that no longer holds the nozzle square gives an uneven weld.
