Ceramic nozzle holders (ceramic rings) for Raytools fiber laser cutting heads, in the five body sizes Raytools uses on its 2D and 3D heads: D32 M14, D28 M11, D21.4 M11, D21.4 M8 and D19.5 M8. Each is listed with its Raytools part number, exact dimensions and the heads it fits.
The ceramic ring insulates the nozzle from the head for capacitive height sensing and holds the nozzle in line with the beam. A cracked or dirty ring causes height sensing alarms.
Every size is sold in packs of 1, 5 or 10.

After a head collision
A crash into a tipped part or the sheet edge usually cracks the ceramic before anything else. A spare ring gets the machine cutting again in minutes.
Height sensing alarms
Erratic capacitive readings, height jumps or false collision alarms are frequently a cracked or dirty ceramic. Swap the ring before recalibrating the sensor.
Planned maintenance
Inspect the ring at every nozzle change and replace it when chips, cracks or heat discolouration appear.
3D and tube heads
The D19.5 and D21.4 M8 rings suit Raytools 3D and tube cutting heads that run the small M8 nozzle.
