Aftermarket replacement carbon vane set for Becker DVT 2.140, DVT 3.140 large dry running (oil free) rotary vane pumps and pressure / vacuum combination units. It replaces Becker part number 90133400007 (WN 124-031): a set of 7 graphite carbon vanes, each 240 x 48 x 4 mm (length x height x thickness).
In a dry running Becker pump the carbon vanes are the main wear part. They slide in the rotor slots, are thrown out against the cylinder wall and wear a little on every turn. As they shorten the pump loses vacuum and flow, runs hotter and gets noisier, and a vane worn too far can break and damage the cylinder. Becker sets a minimum vane height in each pump's manual; change the full set before the vanes reach it.
Always change all 7 vanes together so the rotor stays balanced, and clean the carbon dust out of the pump and filters while it is open. The vanes are made from self lubricating graphite carbon to the Becker size and come as a complete set for one pump.

If the pump takes longer to pull down, holds a weaker vacuum or a vacuum table starts letting parts slip, worn vanes are the usual cause once the filters are clean.
