High-Dust Industrial Environments
In workshops with heavy airborne particulates, this separator extends the life of downstream filters by capturing larger debris before it reaches the main filter element. This reduces maintenance intervals and keeps vacuum pumps running efficiently.
Continuous-Duty Vacuum Systems
For pumps operating around the clock, this separator provides reliable separation to prevent clogging and pressure drops. Its robust construction handles constant airflow without degradation, ensuring consistent performance.
Inventory Consolidation for Multi-Brand Fleets
If your facility uses both Becker and Edwards pumps, this single separator replaces multiple branded parts, simplifying stock management. One part number covers cross-references from over ten brands, reducing inventory costs.
Remote or Hard-to-Access Installations
In confined spaces where filter changes are difficult, the compact 145 mm height and light weight make installation easy. Its reliable separation means fewer replacements, saving time and labour in tight locations.
Check your pump model against our verified list: Becker U 4.40 and Edwards EV 40. For other models, compare the dimensions: body height 145 mm, outer diameter 65 mm, and inner diameter 43 mm. If your pump uses a separator with these measurements, it is a direct fit.
This separator is a separation element, not a fine filter. It removes larger particles and liquid droplets from the air stream to protect downstream components. Specific micron rating is not provided, but it is designed for bulk separation in vacuum pump applications.
The separator has inner diameters of 43 mm on both ends. It does not have threaded connections; it seals via a gasket or O-ring (not included). Ensure your housing accommodates a 43 mm inner diameter seal surface.
This is a direct replacement built to match OEM specifications. It is not branded as genuine, but it offers the same dimensions and function at a lower cost. It cross-references multiple brands including Becker, Mann-Filter, and Edwards.
Installation is straightforward: remove the old separator, clean the housing, and insert the new one ensuring a proper seal. No special tools are required. Always refer to your pump manual for specific instructions.
