On oil lubricated rotary vane pumps (VC, Vacfox, Pico, Druvac oil models) the exhaust filter catches the oil mist leaving the pump. Change it when oil mist shows at the exhaust or the pump pressure rises, and at least at the interval in your manual. The inlet air filter protects the pump from dust and is changed at every service on dry running pumps and compressors (VTB, DTB, CLF, TR). Some models changed parts with the build year, so check the "from" year in the model name against the data plate on your machine. Where a table cell lists more than one number, compare them with the number on your old part.
