Aftermarket 73 mm scale tube for Qilin handheld welding guns with standard M10 nozzles. The scale tube is the stainless steel tube between the gun and the copper nozzle. It screws into the front of the gun, the nozzle screws onto its end, and the engraved scale sets how far the nozzle sits from the focus point.
This is the standard tube for Qilin guns with M10 nozzles.

Setting focus position
Screw the nozzle along the scale to move the focus above or below the surface. Zero is the focus point; set it negative for deeper penetration on thick joints and positive for a wider, softer weld on thin sheet.
Damaged threads or scale
Spatter, knocks and over tightening wear the thread and the engraved scale. A tube that no longer holds the nozzle square gives an uneven weld.
