Aftermarket protective window for the Precitec ProCutter 2.0. Replaces Precitec P0595-97352, protective glass OG Y D37 d7 20 HP.
This is the high power version of the D37 x 7 mm lower window. Precitec rates it to 30 kW on 1070 to 1090 nm fiber lasers and 12 kW on 1030 nm disk lasers. For heads up to 20 kW on the standard glass, the part is P0595-58601; for 30 kW and above it is P0595-117302.
D37 x 7 mm fused silica with a high damage threshold anti reflection coating on both faces. Sold in packs of 1, 5 or 10.

Routine window changes
The protective window is the most frequently replaced optic in a cutting head. Change it at the first sign of spatter, pitting or a burn mark. A contaminated window absorbs laser power, heats up and can crack.
Protecting the focusing lens
The window sits between the focusing lens and the cut. Keeping it clean protects a lens that costs many times more and keeps the focal spot and cut width consistent.
Recovering lost cutting power
If piercing slows, the kerf widens or the machine needs more power for the same plate, inspect the window before changing parameters. A dirty window is the most common cause.
