Raytools cutting heads
Heads that use the D28-H12-M11 ceramic (Raytools 120515099A) and take the D28-H15-M11 nozzle. Check the nozzle currently fitted if unsure.
Same nozzle size, other brands
D28 x H15 x M11 is a shared industry size, so the same nozzle also fits these heads.

Carbon steel, oxygen
Use single layer nozzles. Small bores (0.8 to 1.2 mm) for thin sheet, 1.5 to 2.0 mm for most 3 to 10 mm plate, 2.5 mm and up for thick plate.
Stainless steel and aluminium, nitrogen or air
Use double layer nozzles. Larger bores are used on thicker material where more gas is needed.
Poor cut quality
Dross, a wandering kerf or bad piercing are often caused by a damaged or dirty nozzle. Fit a new nozzle of the same bore before changing other settings.
Height sensing faults
The nozzle is part of the capacitive height sensor. A worn or loose nozzle causes height alarms.

No. It is an aftermarket nozzle made to the same 28 x 15 mm, M11 dimensions. Raytools part numbers are listed so you can match your existing nozzle.
10, all the same layer and bore size you select. Nozzles are only sold in packs of 10.
Single layer for oxygen cutting of carbon steel. Double layer for nitrogen or air cutting of stainless steel and aluminium, where the inner cone stabilises the high pressure jet.
Use your machine's cutting chart for the material and thickness. As a guide, thin sheet runs 0.8 to 1.5 mm, mid plate 1.5 to 2.5 mm and thick plate 3.0 mm and up. Bigger bores pass more gas at lower velocity.
When the bore is damaged, out of round or coated in spatter that will not clean off, or when height sensing becomes unstable. Busy machines often change nozzles daily.
