High voltage power supply for a 100 W class CO2 glass laser tube. It takes AC 220V mains and drives the tube at up to 40 kV and 28 mA, with the output current set by the machine controller through the IN (0 to 5 V or PWM) input.
This is the DY13 pattern: 270 x 163 x 85 mm, about 2.6 kg, fan cooled, with a six way control terminal (5V out, active high and active low laser enable, water protection, ground, 0 to 5 V power input), a TEST button and a screw terminal for the AC input. The DY series is the supply RECI matches to its W2 and S2 tubes, so it is the usual like-for-like swap on machines built around a RECI tube.
A failing supply shows up as weak or unstable cutting, a tube that will not fire although the TEST button is pressed, or a supply that trips or clicks under load. Check the tube and the water protection switch first: a supply that fires the tube on TEST but not from the controller usually has a wiring or enable signal fault, not a dead supply.

Compatibility
100 W class CO2 laser tubes
RECI W2, S2 and Z2 sealed CO2 tubes (90 to 100 W class) and other 80 to 100 W glass tubes with the same high voltage leadEngraving and cutting machines run by RuiDa, TopWisdom or Leetro style controllers
Match the supply to the tube rating, not the machine name: a supply far above the tube rating can overdrive it, one below it limits power. This listing is the 220V version; machines on 110 to 120 V mains need the 110V version, so ask us before ordering.

Applications & use cases
Replacing a failed supply
When the tube is known to be good and the supply no longer fires it, a like-for-like supply restores the machine without rewiring.
Keeping a spare
A supply failure stops the machine. A spare on the shelf turns a week of downtime into an hour of swapping two plugs and the high voltage lead.
Fitting a new tube
When a tube is replaced with a 100 W class tube, the supply should match it. Running a tube near the supply's maximum current shortens tube life.
Upgrading a tired machine
Older supplies drift and lose regulation. A new supply gives steadier current, which shows as more even cut depth and engraving tone.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know this supply suits my tube?
Check the tube rating on its label. This supply is for 80 to 100 W (RECI W2, S2 and Z2 class) tubes, with a maximum of 28 mA. Run the tube at or below the current its maker recommends, usually well under the supply maximum.
Is it a genuine part?
No. It is an aftermarket supply built to the same pattern, terminals and ratings as the original. We do not claim it is made by the original brand.
Will it work on 110 V?
No. This listing is the AC 220V version. For 110 to 120 V mains, contact us before ordering and we will quote the 110V version.
How is it connected?
AC mains to the input terminal, the high voltage lead to the tube anode (positive) end, the tube cathode return to the supply, the water flow switch to WP and G, and the controller's enable and power signals to the control terminal. Earth the case.
Is it safe to work on?
The output reaches tens of kilovolts. Switch off and unplug the machine, wait several minutes and discharge the tube lead before touching any connection. If you are not sure, have a technician fit it.
What else should I check before blaming the supply?
The water flow switch, the lid interlock, the tube itself and the enable wiring. Many supplies are replaced when the fault was a stuck flow switch.
