It is used on electric forklifts, pallet trucks, golf carts and battery powered lifts. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.

The main or direction contactor switches the drive motor current. Burned or welded contacts stop the machine driving or let it drive one way only.

A contactor that clicks without passing current has worn contacts. Replace it before the coil or the controller is damaged.
