Caterpillar 227-7658 is the throttle motor position sensor (positioner): a two hole flange mounted rotary sensor with lead and 3 pin connector. It is used on Caterpillar 320B, 320C and 320D excavators. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
