Cummins 3256759 is the 28 volt, 55 amp alternator with an eight rib poly V pulley, black cooling fan, cast aluminium housings with a top lug and a mounting foot, and a rear regulator with B+, D+ and W terminals. It is used on Cummins 6CT8.3 engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
