Cummins 3957597 is the 24 volt gear reduction starter motor with 10 tooth pinion, solenoid and mounting flange. It is used on Cummins 6CT8.3 engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
