Frequently asked questions

Will it replace my Denso 095000-0302?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for the Denso 095000-0302 with the same fitting.

How often should I replace the Denso 095000-0302?

Often 5,000 to 10,000 hours, but much less on poor or wet fuel. Injectors are usually changed when they fail a test, not by hours.

What are the signs the fuel injector needs replacing?

Black or white smoke, a misfire or knock on one cylinder, hard starting, higher fuel use, or a high return leak or balance rate on test.

What should I do before fitting it?

Clean the bore and seat of carbon, and keep the nozzle capped until it goes in. Torque the clamp to the engine manual, not by feel.

Should I replace all of them at once?

Not always. If the others pass a return leak or balance test, one can be changed. Where they are all high hours, a full set keeps the cylinders even.

Is this a genuine Denso 095000-0302?

No. It is an aftermarket fuel injector made to replace the Denso 095000-0302. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
