Frequently asked questions
Will it replace my Denso 295700-0100?
Yes, it is a direct replacement for the Denso 295700-0100 with the same fitting.
How often should I replace the Denso 295700-0100?
Often 5,000 to 10,000 hours, but much less on poor or wet fuel. Injectors are usually changed when they fail a test, not by hours.
What are the signs the fuel injector needs replacing?
Black or white smoke, a misfire or knock on one cylinder, hard starting, higher fuel use, or a high return leak or balance rate on test.
Does it need coding to the engine?
Most common rail injectors carry a trim code (QR or IMA) printed on the body. Enter it with a diagnostic tool after fitting, or the engine runs rough and smokes.
What should I do before fitting it?
Clean the bore and seat of carbon, and keep the nozzle capped until it goes in. Torque the clamp to the engine manual, not by feel.
Is this a genuine Denso 295700-0100?
No. It is an aftermarket fuel injector made to replace the Denso 295700-0100. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
