Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Applications & use cases
Hard starting and low power
A worn injection pump delivers less fuel at lower pressure: long cranking and weak power under load.
Smoke and uneven running
Uneven delivery between cylinders shows as smoke and rough running.
Fuel leaks
Leaks from the pump body or shaft seal mean it is time to replace it.
Fitting tips
Set the pump timing to the engine maker's figure, bleed the fuel system, and use clean fuel and new filters.

Frequently asked questions
Will it replace my Isuzu 8-98239521-0?
Yes, it is a direct replacement for the Isuzu 8-98239521-0 with the same fitting.
How often should I replace the Isuzu 8-98239521-0?
Often 5,000 to 10,000 hours with clean fluid, much less with dirt or air in the system. It is usually changed on condition, not by hours.
What are the signs the fuel injection pump needs replacing?
Leaks from the seal or weep hole, noise or whining, overheating, or falling pressure or flow under load.
Should I prime it before starting?
Yes. Fill the pump and its suction line with clean fluid before the first start. Running it dry, even for a few seconds, can score it.
Why did the old pump fail?
Most failures come from contamination, cavitation from a restricted inlet, or running low on fluid. Check the inlet and the fluid before fitting the new fuel injection pump.
Is this a genuine Isuzu 8-98239521-0?
No. It is an aftermarket fuel injection pump made to replace the Isuzu 8-98239521-0. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
