Hitachi 4614912 is the throttle motor positioner sensor (position sensor on the engine throttle motor, with lead and connector). It is used on Hitachi EX-5, EX-6 and Zaxis excavators. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.

A throttle position fault code points to the sensor, its plug or the wiring. Measure the signal with a meter before replacing.
