Hitachi 4624866 Aftermarket Front Engine Mount (2 Pack)

Hitachi 4624866 is the front rubber engine mounting cushion, a U shaped steel cradle bonded in rubber with a single mounting stud top and bottom. It is used on Hitachi Zaxis -3 excavators with the Isuzu 4HK1 engine, at the front of the engine. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.

Sold in packs of 2, the pair fitted at that end of the engine. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

A mount whose rubber has cracked, gone hard or torn away from the steel lets the engine shake on its bed. The cab buzzes at idle and the frame takes the knocks.

Engine sitting low or touching the frame
A collapsed mount lets the engine drop, so the fan, hoses or exhaust can rub the shroud and frame. Check the gap at each mount with the engine running.

Mounts at the same end of the engine carry the load together. A new mount beside a tired one takes more than its share, so change the pair.
