Hitachi 8980056311 is the 24 V starter (safety) relay in a sealed can on a two hole mounting flange, with two plug in connectors on a moulded housing. It is used on Hitachi Zaxis -3 series excavators with the Isuzu 4HK1 and 6HK1 engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
The same part is also sold as Nikko 0-25000-9061.
