Holset 4031031 is the Holset HE500WG type wastegated turbocharger with the actuator fitted on its bracket, a twin entry (divided) four bolt exhaust inlet flange, an aluminium compressor housing and a V band clamped turbine housing. It is used on Doosan DX520-9C (DC13 engine). This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.

What it does
Exhaust gas spins the turbine, which drives the compressor wheel on the same shaft and pushes more air into the engine. More air lets the engine burn more fuel cleanly, giving the rated power.
