JCB 701/21201 is the forward, neutral and reverse column switch with yellow lever, mounting bracket and two plug-in leads. It is used on JCB backhoe loaders. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.

Machine will not drive or change direction
When forward or reverse will not engage, or the machine drops out of drive, a worn column switch is a common cause once the fuses and transmission solenoids check out.
Intermittent drive
Worn contacts give drive that cuts in and out. Replace the switch before it strands the machine on site.

A cracked or loose lever cannot be repaired properly; the switch is replaced as a unit.
Fitting tips
Disconnect the battery, unplug the switch at its connectors, and fit the new switch to the same column bracket. Check forward, neutral and reverse before work.
