Kaeser 4E0302.0 is the replacement air intake filter element, a short, wide pleated paper element between expanded metal sleeves that stops dust reaching the compressor airend. It is used on Kaeser rotary screw compressors. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Applications & use cases
Scheduled replacement
Change the intake element at every service, typically every 2,000 running hours or once a year, and sooner in dusty plants. Change the oil filter at the same time and check the separator.
High differential pressure warning
When the controller or the intake vacuum indicator shows high air filter differential pressure, the element is loaded with dust and is starving the compressor of air, which costs output and raises energy use.
Protecting the airend
Dust that gets past a torn or badly seated element wears the rotors and bearings and shortens oil life. Replace an element with a damaged sealing ring, split pleats or a dented end cap straight away.
Fitting tips
Stop and isolate the compressor, wipe the housing out with a damp cloth (never blow dust into the intake), check the sealing face is clean and undamaged, and seat the sealing ring squarely before refitting the cover.
