Applications & use cases
Hard starting and low power
A worn injection pump delivers less fuel at lower pressure: long cranking and weak power under load.
Smoke and uneven running
Uneven delivery between cylinders shows as smoke and rough running.
Fuel leaks
Leaks from the pump body or shaft seal mean it is time to replace it.
Fitting tips
Set the pump timing to the engine maker's figure, bleed the fuel system, and use clean fuel and new filters.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my Mitsubishi 6M60?
Yes, it was made for the Mitsubishi 6M60, and 1 more listed under compatible equipment. Check the old fuel injection pump is marked ME307484 or one of the cross references, because makers change parts between serial ranges.
How often should I replace the fuel injection pump on my Mitsubishi 6M60?
On the Mitsubishi 6M60, often 5,000 to 10,000 hours with clean fluid, much less with dirt or air in the system. It is usually changed on condition, not by hours.
What are the signs the fuel injection pump needs replacing?
Leaks from the seal or weep hole, noise or whining, overheating, or falling pressure or flow under load.
Why did the old pump fail?
Most failures come from contamination, cavitation from a restricted inlet, or running low on fluid. Check the inlet and the fluid before fitting the new fuel injection pump.
What should I do with the gasket faces?
Clean them right back to metal and fit the new gasket or O-ring dry, unless the engine manual calls for sealant.
Is this a genuine Mitsubishi ME307484?
No. It is an aftermarket fuel injection pump made to replace the Mitsubishi ME307484. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
