Engine rebuilds
A full set gives every gasket and seal needed for an in-frame or out-of-frame rebuild, so the job is not held up for one missing seal.
Head gasket jobs
With the head off, the manifold, rocker cover and water outlet gaskets are worth replacing at the same time.
Oil and coolant leaks
Old gaskets go hard and weep. Replacing them as a set stops chasing leaks one at a time.
Fitting tips
Clean every face, check the head and block for flatness, fit seals dry or lightly oiled as the engine maker says and tighten in sequence to the specified torque.
