A pack of 10 copper laser cutting nozzles in the Precitec HP1.5" format: 28 mm outer diameter, 15 mm height and an M11 x 0.75 thread. Single layer sizes replace the Precitec P0591-57x DE HP1.5" CON series and double layer sizes replace the P0591-002 series, with every bore listed against its Precitec part number below.
Machined from high conductivity copper with a concentric bore, the nozzle keeps the assist gas centred on the beam and gives the capacitive sensor a clean electrode. It fits ProCutter, LightCutter, MiniCutter and HP series heads that use the HP1.5" nozzle, including ProCutter 2.0 heads fitted with the KT XB ceramic.
Use single layer nozzles for oxygen cutting of carbon steel and double layer nozzles for nitrogen or air cutting of stainless steel and aluminium. Packs of 10 so every bore you run has a spare.

Carbon steel, oxygen
Use single layer nozzles. Small bores (0.8 to 1.2 mm) for thin sheet, 1.5 to 2.0 mm for most 3 to 10 mm plate, 2.5 mm and up for thick plate.
Stainless steel and aluminium, nitrogen or air
Use double layer nozzles. Larger bores are used on thicker material where more gas is needed.
Poor cut quality
Dross, a wandering kerf or bad piercing are often caused by a damaged or dirty nozzle. Fit a new nozzle of the same bore before changing other settings.
Height sensing faults
The nozzle is part of the capacitive height sensor. A worn or loose nozzle causes height alarms.

Use your machine's cutting chart for the material and thickness. As a guide, thin sheet runs 0.8 to 1.5 mm, mid plate 1.5 to 2.5 mm and thick plate 3.0 mm and up. Bigger bores pass more gas at lower velocity.
When the bore is damaged, out of round or coated in spatter that will not clean off, or when height sensing becomes unstable. Busy machines often change nozzles daily.
