SPM-HEP-4103 is the 24V fuel shutoff (stop) solenoid with a mounting flange, threaded rod end and a two pin plug on a long lead. It is used on Cummins 6CT engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces Cummins 4063712, Woodward SA-5030-24 and Komatsu 6743-81-9141.

Engine will not start
If the engine cranks but will not fire, a stop solenoid that does not pull in keeps the fuel shut off. Check for battery voltage at the plug while cranking.
Engine will not stop
A solenoid that sticks in the run position leaves the fuel on when the key is turned off. Replace it before it is needed in a hurry.
Fitting tips
Fit the new solenoid to the same bracket, set the linkage so the plunger pulls fully in at run and fully cuts the fuel at stop, then check both positions.
