SPM-HEP-4162 is the 12 volt engine stop solenoid with its plunger, lead and sealed plug. It is used on FG Wilson generator sets. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces FG Wilson 10000-47899 and FG Wilson 10000-15223.

A failed fuel shutoff solenoid holds the fuel off (no start) or will not cut it (no stop). Check power at the plug first.
Engine cuts out
A weak pull-in or hold coil lets the solenoid drop out under vibration and the engine stalls.

Dirt and corrosion stop the plunger moving freely. Replacing the solenoid is quicker than freeing an old one.
