SPM-HEP-4586 is the 24 V starter: a black cast nose housing with a two bolt flange, a silver field frame and end frame, and a side mounted solenoid with a start relay. It is used on Cummins 4BT and 6BT engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces Cummins 4948058 and Cummins M93R3001SE.
