SPM-HEP-4587 is the 24 V reduction starter: a silver nose housing with a 12 tooth pinion, a black field frame and a side mounted solenoid. It is used on Cummins ISM engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces Cummins 3102765 and Cummins 31791000.
