SPM-HEP-4589 is the 24 V reduction starter: a silver nose housing and end frame with a black field frame, a top mounted solenoid with a start relay, and a red capped battery terminal. It is used on Cummins 6CT8.3 engines. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces Cummins 3102767, Cummins 5367768 and Cummins 3352839.
