SPM-HEP-4591 is the HX35W turbocharger: a wastegated unit with the actuator on a bracket and its boost hose, a twin entry turbine housing and an aluminium compressor housing. It is used on Komatsu PC220-8 excavators. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
It replaces Komatsu 6754-81-8190 and Komatsu 4038597.

What it does
Exhaust gas spins the turbine, which drives the compressor wheel on the same shaft and pushes more air into the engine. More air lets the engine burn more fuel cleanly, giving the rated power.
