SPM-HEP-4787 is the wastegated turbocharger with the actuator and boost hose fitted, a twin entry (divided) four bolt exhaust inlet flange, an aluminium compressor housing with a hose outlet and a cast iron turbine housing. It is used on Volvo EC240B and EC240C (D7D, D7E engines). This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
It replaces Volvo 21109241 and Volvo VOE21109241.

Exhaust gas spins the turbine, which drives the compressor wheel on the same shaft and pushes more air into the engine. More air lets the engine burn more fuel cleanly, giving the rated power.
