Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my Kubota KX057-4?
Yes, it was made for the Kubota KX057-4, and 3 more listed under compatible equipment. Check the old fuel injector is marked 295050-1340 or one of the cross references, because makers change parts between serial ranges.
How often should I replace the fuel injector on my Kubota KX057-4?
On the Kubota KX057-4, often 5,000 to 10,000 hours, but much less on poor or wet fuel. Injectors are usually changed when they fail a test, not by hours.
What are the signs the fuel injector needs replacing?
Black or white smoke, a misfire or knock on one cylinder, hard starting, higher fuel use, or a high return leak or balance rate on test.
Does it need coding to the engine?
Most common rail injectors carry a trim code (QR or IMA) printed on the body. Enter it with a diagnostic tool after fitting, or the engine runs rough and smokes.
Do I need new sealing washers?
Always. Fit a new copper washer and O-rings under every injector you remove. A reused washer leaks combustion gas and carbon packs the bore.
Is this a genuine Denso 295050-1340?
No. It is an aftermarket fuel injector made to replace the Denso 295050-1340. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
