SPM-HEP-5110 is the Bosch CP3 type common rail pump: a cast body with flat mounting face, a keyed drive shaft with nut, the metering unit with its plug and capped high pressure outlets. It is used on Weichai WP7 engines. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.

It replaces Bosch 0445020142 and Bosch 610800080072.

Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Applications & use cases

Hard starting and low power
A worn injection pump delivers less fuel at lower pressure: long cranking and weak power under load.

Smoke and uneven running
Uneven delivery between cylinders shows as smoke and rough running.

Fuel leaks
Leaks from the pump body or shaft seal mean it is time to replace it.

Fitting tips
Set the pump timing to the engine maker's figure, bleed the fuel system, and use clean fuel and new filters.

Frequently asked questions

Will it replace my Bosch 0445020142?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for the Bosch 0445020142 with the same fitting.

How often should I replace the Bosch 0445020142?

Often 5,000 to 10,000 hours with clean fluid, much less with dirt or air in the system. It is usually changed on condition, not by hours.

What are the signs the fuel injection pump needs replacing?

Leaks from the seal or weep hole, noise or whining, overheating, or falling pressure or flow under load.

What should I do with the gasket faces?

Clean them right back to metal and fit the new gasket or O-ring dry, unless the engine manual calls for sealant.

Should I prime it before starting?

Yes. Fill the pump and its suction line with clean fluid before the first start. Running it dry, even for a few seconds, can score it.

Is this a genuine Bosch 0445020142?

No. It is an aftermarket fuel injection pump made to replace the Bosch 0445020142. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
