SPM-HEP-5231 is the common rail injector: the black body with the threaded inlet and leak off port, the two pin plug and the nozzle with its copper washer. It is used on SsangYong Actyon, Kyron and Rexton. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
It replaces SsangYong A6640170221 and SsangYong EJBR04701D.

A worn or sticking injector sprays unevenly: the engine knocks, misfires or idles rough. A cylinder cut-out test finds the bad one.

Black smoke and rising fuel use point to dribbling nozzles. Replace injectors before they wash the cylinder walls.

Leaking injectors bleed fuel pressure back and make the engine crank longer, especially when hot.
Fitting tips
Fit new copper washers and seals, clean the seat in the head, and torque the clamp to the engine maker's figure.
