SPM-HEP-5332 is the aluminium engine water pump: the four hole pulley flange on a sealed bearing, the round body with its ring of bolt holes, and the cast impeller. It is used on Hino N04C engines. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
It replaces Hino 16100-E0040, Hino 16100-78170 and Hino 16100-4080.
Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Will it replace my Hino 16100-E0040?
Yes, it is a direct replacement for the Hino 16100-E0040 with the same fitting.
How often should I replace the Hino 16100-E0040?
Often 5,000 to 10,000 hours with clean fluid, much less with dirt or air in the system. It is usually changed on condition, not by hours.
What are the signs the water pump needs replacing?
Leaks from the seal or weep hole, noise or whining, overheating, or falling pressure or flow under load.
What should I do with the gasket faces?
Clean them right back to metal and fit the new gasket or O-ring dry, unless the engine manual calls for sealant.
Why did the old pump fail?
Most failures come from contamination, cavitation from a restricted inlet, or running low on fluid. Check the inlet and the fluid before fitting the new water pump.
Is this a genuine Hino 16100-E0040?
No. It is an aftermarket water pump made to replace the Hino 16100-E0040. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
