Heavy Equipment in Dirty Conditions
Mobile plant working in mining, construction, or agricultural environments faces constant dust and debris. The 7-micron inorganic microfibre media effectively captures these particulates, preventing them from scoring pistons and valves and significantly extending component lifespan.
Continuous Factory Operation
For hydraulic systems running around the clock, unplanned downtime is costly. This filter's high dirt-holding capacity means fewer changeouts, maintaining oil cleanliness longer and reducing interruptions to production schedules.
Streamlined Fleet Maintenance
Workshops maintaining mixed fleets of Hydac-equipped machinery can reduce inventory complexity. Since this element replaces multiple branded filters, it consolidates stock, simplifies ordering, and keeps maintenance costs under control.
This filter is a direct replacement for Hydac filter elements and cross-references with Fai Filtri, Mahle, and Oxfil brands. It suits housings that accept an element with a total height of 425 mm, largest outer diameter of 140 mm, and largest inner diameter of 66 mm. Always compare these dimensions with your current element before ordering.
It has a 7-micron absolute rating. The inorganic microfibre media offers a high contaminant-holding capacity and consistent particle removal. This means it captures very fine silt and wear particles while resisting premature clogging, keeping hydraulic fluid cleaner for longer.
This is a cartridge-style element without threads. It drops into the housing bore. Ensure the housing is clean and the seal area is undamaged. The out-to-in flow direction is standard. An exact match of the 425 mm height, 66 mm ID, and 140 mm OD is critical for proper bypass valve and seal engagement.
No, this is not a genuine Hydac filter. It is an aftermarket element manufactured to match the original equipment specifications, providing a quality and economical alternative. It offers comparable protection at a fraction of the cost of branded filters.
First, depressurise the hydraulic system and consult your machine's service manual. Remove the old filter element, clean the housing bowl, and inspect any O-rings or seals for damage. Insert the new element, making sure it seats properly, reassemble the housing, and check for leaks after restarting.
