High-Dust Industrial Environments
In foundries or woodworking shops where airborne particulates are heavy, this separator reliably captures debris before it reaches the vacuum pump, extending pump life and reducing downtime for cleaning.
Continuous-Duty Packaging Lines
For packaging machines running multiple shifts, this separator maintains consistent airflow and filtration performance, preventing clogging that can cause production stoppages.
Fleet Maintenance Consolidation
Workshops servicing multiple Elmo Rietschle or Multivac machines can stock one separator model that fits numerous pump series, simplifying inventory and reducing part proliferation.
Remote or Harsh Operating Conditions
In outdoor or mobile applications where filter changes are infrequent, the robust construction of this separator withstands vibration and temperature variations while protecting downstream components.
Check your pump's model number against the verified list of compatible machines. This separator fits many Elmo Rietschle Vacfox and CLF series pumps, as well as other brands. If your model is not listed, compare the dimensions: 128 mm height, 82 mm outer diameter, and 35 mm inner diameter.
This separator is a separator designed for bulk liquid and particle removal, not a fine filter. It does not have a micron rating; its primary function is to protect downstream filters and pumps from large contaminants.
The separator has a plain cylindrical design with no threaded connections. It installs via a push-fit or clamp arrangement depending on your pump housing. Always verify the inner diameter (35 mm) and outer diameter (82 mm) match your existing separator.
This is an aftermarket replacement, not OEM. It is built to match the specifications of the original parts from brands like Busch and Mann-Filter, offering a cost-effective alternative without compromising performance.
Installation is straightforward: remove the old separator, clean the housing, and insert the new this separator ensuring a snug fit. No special tools are required. Refer to your pump's manual for specific instructions.
