JCB 701/80319 is the two pin engine oil pressure switch that turns on the low oil pressure warning. It is used on JCB backhoe loaders. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.

A switch that never closes leaves the engine unprotected. If the light does not come on with the key on and the engine off, test the switch and its wire.

Oil weeping from the switch body or thread means the seal has gone. Replace it before the engine loses oil.
Fitting tips
Fit with a new sealing washer or thread sealant suited to oil, tighten to the engine maker's torque and check for leaks with the engine running.
