Genie 72245 is the two piece handle shell and rocker that fit over the Genie 20424 platform joystick, replacing a cracked or broken handle without changing the whole joystick. It is used on Genie S-60 and S-65 telescopic and Z-60/34 articulated boom lifts. This aftermarket kit is moulded to the same shape and screw positions as the original, so it fits over the existing joystick in place of the old handle.
The same part is also sold as Genie 72245GT.
Sold as one complete set. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Cracked or broken handle
The handle shell takes every knock on the platform. A cracked handle lets dirt and water into the joystick, so replace the shell before the joystick itself fails.
Loose or missing rocker
A worn or missing rocker makes the enable and direction switches hard to work. The kit replaces it with the handle halves.
Cheaper than a whole joystick
When the joystick still works, a new handle kit fixes the damage for a fraction of the cost of a complete controller.
Rental fleet spares
Handle kits are small and cheap to keep on the service van for quick repairs between hires.
