Machine will not drive or lift
A worn joystick is a common cause when the platform controls stop responding or only work in one direction. Check the fault code on the control box first, then the joystick.
Jerky or uneven movement
Worn potentiometers and enable switches give jumpy proportional control. A new joystick restores smooth starts and stops.
Broken handle or boot
A cracked handle or torn boot lets dirt and water into the joystick and it fails soon after. Replace it before it strands a machine.
Rental fleet spares
Keeping a spare joystick for each machine type means a lift goes back on hire the same day instead of waiting for parts.
