Cummins 4983836 is the Bosch CP3 type common rail pump: a cast body with a round drive flange and keyed shaft with nut, the fuel metering unit with its plug, the gear feed pump and capped inlet and outlet ports. It is used on Cummins ISDe and QSB 6.7 engines. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
