Aftermarket 65 mm scale tube for Qilin handheld welding guns fitted with anti-splash (M16) nozzles. The scale tube is the stainless steel tube between the gun and the copper nozzle. It screws into the front of the gun, the nozzle screws onto its end, and the engraved scale sets how far the nozzle sits from the focus point.
This is the tube for Qilin guns fitted with the anti-splash nozzles, which use an M16 thread.

Setting focus position
Screw the nozzle along the scale to move the focus above or below the surface. Zero is the focus point; set it negative for deeper penetration on thick joints and positive for a wider, softer weld on thin sheet.
Damaged threads or scale
Spatter, knocks and over tightening wear the thread and the engraved scale. A tube that no longer holds the nozzle square gives an uneven weld.
