SPM-HEP-5245 is the pressure sensor with a brass hex body, a threaded tip with a blue sealing ring and a black ribbed 4 pin plug. It is used on Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
It replaces Paccar 2041677 and Paccar 1826279.
Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Applications & use cases
Wrong or missing reading
A failed sensor gives a dead or false gauge reading or a warning light.
Fault codes
Check the wiring and plug first; if the sensor itself reads out of range, replace it.
Corrosion
Connectors on machines take water and dirt. A corroded sensor is cheaper to replace than to chase.
Fleet spares
Common sensors are worth keeping in stock for each machine type.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my Kenworth T660?
Yes, it was made for the Kenworth T660, and 14 more listed under compatible equipment. Check the old sensor is marked 2041677 or one of the cross references, because makers change parts between serial ranges.
How often should I replace the sensor on my Kenworth T660?
On the Kenworth T660, there is no fixed interval. It is changed when it fails, and many fail from water in the plug or chafed wiring rather than wear.
What are the signs the sensor needs replacing?
A fault code for this circuit, readings that jump or stay fixed, or a part that does not respond with power at the plug.
Do the fault codes need clearing?
Usually. Clear them after fitting and run the machine, so old codes are not mistaken for a new fault.
Does the voltage matter?
Yes. Many machines have 12 V and 24 V versions of the same sensor. Check the old part or the machine plate before fitting.
Is this a genuine Paccar 2041677?
No. It is an aftermarket sensor made to replace the Paccar 2041677. It is not made by the original manufacturer; the number only shows what it replaces.
