CompAir A11383574 is the complete intake (inlet) control valve that opens to load the compressor and closes to unload it. It is used on CompAir rotary screw air compressors. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.

Compressor will not load or unload
If the compressor builds no pressure on load, or keeps pumping when it should unload, the intake valve is usually sticking. Worn pistons, seals and springs are the usual cause.
Oil blowing back through the air filter
A worn intake valve check plate or seal lets oil mist blow back into the intake when the machine stops. Fix it before the air filter is soaked.
Slow loading and air leaks
Worn seals on the control piston let control air leak past, so the valve opens slowly and the machine wastes energy.
Fitting tips
Isolate and vent the compressor first. Mark the valve position, clean the bore, lightly lubricate the new seals with compressor oil and check the valve opens and closes freely before refitting.
