Aftermarket 20 x 3 mm protective lens for Ospri and Relfar handheld welding guns. The protective lens is the flat window at the front of the gun, between the focusing lens and the weld. It takes the spatter and fume, so it is the part you change most often.
Fused silica, anti reflection coated on both faces for 1064 nm. 20 mm across and 3 mm thick. Sold in packs of 10, 20 or 50, with the 50 pack the cheapest per lens.
The matching seal ring is 21 x 15 x 3 mm for Ospri guns, sold separately.

Daily lens changes
A handheld gun throws spatter straight back at the protective lens. Change it at the first dark spot or burn mark; a dirty lens absorbs power, gets hot and cracks.
Protecting the focusing lens
The protective lens is a few cents. The focusing lens behind it costs many times more. A clean protective lens keeps it clean.

If penetration drops or the weld bead goes uneven at the same settings, check the protective lens before changing power or speed.
