Industrial power units
Schroeder and Pall filters sit on the power units of presses, machine tools, plastics machines and test rigs. A fresh element keeps valves and pumps at the cleanliness they were designed for.
Mobile and off highway machinery
The same element sizes are used on mining, forestry and construction machines, where a spare on site saves a breakdown call.
Steel, paper and energy plants
Hydraulic and lube oil systems in mills and power plants use these elements in duplex filters, so the change can happen as soon as the indicator trips.
Planned maintenance stock
Sites with several machines on the same element can hold stock for scheduled changes at a lower price than buying OEM every time.
No. It is an aftermarket element made to the dimensions and filtration grade of the Schroeder SBF940416Z25V / Pall HC9404FKT16Z. It is not made by or affiliated with Schroeder Industries or Pall, and their part numbers are used only to show what it replaces.
Yes if your filter takes the Schroeder SBF940416Z25V or Pall HC9404FKT16Z. Check the old element: 97.7 mm outside diameter, 63 mm bore and 388 mm overall length.
The element has no inner support tube. The perforated core is part of the filter housing and stays in place, and the new element slides over it. Do not fit a coreless element in a housing that has no core.
In Pall's code, 9404 is the element series, KT is the 20 to 25 µm glass fibre grade, 16 is the nominal length in inches and Z is the fluorocarbon seal.
Fluorocarbon (FKM / Viton) seals, shown by the V at the end of the Schroeder number and the Z at the end of the Pall number. They suit mineral oil, synthetic and most fire resistant fluids.
