Bystronic press brakes
The hydraulic unit of a Bystronic press brake runs both main cylinders through proportional valves. Clean oil keeps the ram parallel and the bending angle repeatable, so the element is changed at every service.
Bending shops with several machines
Shops running more than one Xpert can keep elements on the shelf and change them at the planned service instead of waiting for a dealer delivery.
After a valve or pump repair
Fit a new element after any hydraulic repair to catch the debris the work leaves in the system.
Industrial power units
The same element size is used on other machine tool and press hydraulic units fitted with the same filter housing.

No. This element is for the Xpert 250 and Xpert 320 with the ByVision touch screen. Xpert machines with the MMC or Cybelec control use the Rexroth element (Bystronic 81100.0000.0046), and the Xpert Pro uses a different filter.
Nitrile (NBR) seals, which suit mineral oil based hydraulic, lube and turbine oils. Ask us before ordering if your system runs a fire resistant or synthetic ester fluid.
Change it when the filter's clogging indicator shows the element is loaded, or at the interval in your maintenance plan, whichever comes first.
