Volvo 15047336 is the engine oil pressure sensor (brass body with integral connector). It is used on Volvo E series haulers and loaders and B series wheeled excavators. This aftermarket version has the same mounting and electrical connector as the original, so it plugs in and bolts on where the old one came off.
Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Low oil pressure warning
A failed oil pressure sensor or switch can give a false low pressure warning. Always check the real oil pressure with a gauge before assuming the sensor is at fault.
No warning at all
A switch that has failed closed or open can hide a real low pressure problem; replace a doubtful one.
Leaks and corroded plugs
Oil weeping from the body or a corroded plug are reasons to replace it.
Fitting tips
Fit it with the engine cold, use a new sealing washer or thread sealant as the original and check for leaks after starting.
