Aftermarket focusing lens for SUP (Chaoqiang Weiye) SUP20S, SUP20T, SUP21T, SUP23S, SUP23T and SW150 handheld welding guns: 20 mm diameter, 4.5 mm centre thickness (CT), 200 mm focal length.
The focusing lens brings the parallel beam from the collimator to the welding spot at the nozzle. A burned or pitted focusing lens shows up as weak penetration and a wide, uneven bead at normal settings. F200 gives a larger spot and more working distance than the standard F150, which suits wide seams and cleaning work.
S1 grade fused silica, anti reflection coated on both faces for 1064 nm. Sold singly or in packs of 5.

Burned focusing lens
Spatter that gets past a dirty protective lens burns the focusing lens. Weak penetration and a wide, uneven bead at normal settings are the signs.
Changing spot size
A longer focal length (F200 instead of F150 on SUP guns) gives a larger spot and more working distance, which suits wider seams and cleaning work.
